On December 18th Kevin was diagnosed with Bowel, Liver and
Lung cancer. Kevin is a P.Ed. teacher at Stonepark and an active
community volunteer coaching volleyball, football and basketball.
Jeannie is a grade 5 teacher at
Eliot
River school and they have two sons; Mark in grade 6 and Alex in grade
10.
Kevin has already had surgery and is waiting to begin chemo. He and
Jeannie are very optimistic and have maintained such a positive attitude
in spite of the diagnosis.
They have both given much to the community and it’s our turn to support
them in their struggle.
