We need a plot plan, floor plan, deed (ownership
documentation) and your price. We will do the rest!
There will be a thirty day listing and an auction
date. Our fees will be 1% of your reserve price or sale price.
This will include one advertisement in our local newspapers, plus all of
the above advertising.
If we are successful with the coverage that we
are providing we will charge you 2% on the sale price of your property.
How
do I differ from other Island Auction Companies?
Moe's
Auctioneering Service, an Island owned and operated company,
was established in 2000. Business is nothing new to me. I
personally have an Inter-Provincial Automotive Mechanics License,
Bachelor of Education Degree and twenty years in operating
my own business. Having said that, it is only practical for
me to do auctions from March through to November because of
obvious P.E.I. weather. The seller (and fair market prices)
are of utmost importance to me.

is explained in writing and when you sign on with me, you

Insurance
I
carry Commercial General Liability and Tenant Legal Liability
Insurance (Don't have an auction sale without it!). The seller,
even the single consigner could be held liable. You may ask
why have insurance? When
any auctioneer is hired to do a sale on site or off site, we
advertise the goods to be sold and we invite people to view
and buy our goods. When you put out an invitation to
people, you are responsible for their safety. You must
have insurance. Ask your auctioneer for proof of
insurance.

I
use a fully computerized auction system (you, the seller,
get paid for every piece). No bundle of slips; 1, 2, 3 easy
to follow single sheet with items listed.
